The celebration of Forum on Europe’s ten years, reasserts its position as an academic space where the Colombian Caribbean and Europe meet, which enjoys complete local, regional, national and international recognition. Hence, with pride, we wish to highlight in 2007’s Program, the International Education Seminar "Forum on Europe: The Latin American Connection", which will be organized by the Universities of Valencia, Mainz and Paris XII, with the support of the European Union Commission, for having been selected as a winning project of the Erasmus Mundus – Action 4 program.

Other events worthy of highlighting are the Children’s and Human Rights Seminar, promoted by the “Fundación Carolina”, an entity that has participated in the Forum on Europe for three consecutive years; the I Pediatrics – Medicine Alumni Meeting; the Symposium on European and Latin American Cities; the Colloquium on Philosophy and Feminism; the Seminar on International Community Law; the Environmental Meeting: Cleaner Production – Environmental and Corporate Gain; the Industrial Design Workshop; the flower and plant exhibit “Nuestra Herencia” and a varied program of conferences and other cultural activities that will allow attendees to deepen their knowledge and enjoyment of the European cultures.
